Enthusiasm at Valdimontone, Pantera and Onda

The allocation of the horses to the ten Contrade that will participate in the Palio di Siena on July 2, 2024 dedicated to the Madonna of Provenzano took place from 1:40 pm today, Saturday, June 29. The mayor of Siena, Nicoletta Fabio, took out the Contrade and the horses.

In a lot in which no horse that has already won the Palio, with four horses that have run at least one Palio (Tabacco 6, Viso d’Angelo 3, Ungaros 2 and Veranu 1), and six debutants (Criptha, Akida, Ardeglina, Ares Elce, Zenios and Brivido Sardo), the contradaioli of Valdimontone rejoice for Ungaros, those of Pantera for Viso d’Angelo and those of Onda for Tabacco.
